Our Partners

Who we are proud to work with

Kits for Kidz™ is proud to count hundreds of different non-profit groups among our customer base including relief organizations, philanthropic groups, churches and school districts. All of these groups share a common objective – working to serve the most deprived and deserving children both domestically and internationally. Our objective is to assist these groups with their initiatives by giving them a convenient and affordable source to purchase essential products for children.

In particular, Kits for Kidz™ would like to highlight the following partners and the caring work they do:

World Vision

Millions of children living in poverty miss out on the chance for an education simply because they can’t pay for essential supplies that go hand-in-hand with learning. That’s why World Vision created SchoolTools — a program that inspires hope in children by providing them with the valuable school materials they so desperately need. SchoolTools collects kits of specific school supplies made by individuals, groups and organizations and delivers them to needy children who wouldn’t be able to attend class without them. You can make a difference!

Feed the Children’s Homeless Education and Literacy Program

Through a partnership with The National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth (NAEHCY) and Kits for Kidz™, Feed the Children has distributed backpacks filled with school supplies, snack foods and personal care items to public schools across the country. FTC distributed 47,000 backpacks in the 2006/2007 school year and plans to distribute 80,000 in the 2007/2008 school year.

Kids In Need Foundation

The Kids In Need Foundation’s mission is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need. Kids In Need Resource Centers provide free school supplies to impoverished students and under-funded teachers at locations thoughout the US. Resource Centers serve an estimated 1.5 million students and more than 100,000 teachers. More than $300 million worth of school supplies have been distributed by the program.

Children of The Americas

Children of America

Their main mission is to keep underserved children in Mexico and the United States fed and in school so that by the time they have reached young adulthood, they are healthy and well developed with skills that will allow them to take their place in life and pass that opportunity on to their children–breaking the cycle of poverty in one generation. Children of the Americas believes health and education are the two most important gifts we can give any child. Services they provide include before-class nutrition programs, badly needed school supplies, scholarships and necessary education equipment. Additionally, they build dining rooms, computer labs, repair school classrooms and even individual homes when needed.

Illinois Currency Exchange Charitable Foundation

ICECF

The Back 2 School program, run by the Illinois Currency Exchange Charitable Foundation (ICECF) provides school supplies for deserving children in Illinois. In 2011 the program distributed more than 12,500 boxes of school supplies to give students the tools they needed to succeed in the classroom. In what is probably the largest back to school program of it’s kind in Illinois, the goal of ICECF in 2012 is to increase the number of children we help by by 50%! It’s an ambitious goal but with your contribution together we can make it happen.
